We have a responsibility to manage our use of resources, which is why we have worked hard to earn both Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody Certification and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) Certification.
More than 100 million hectares of forest in 82 countries are FSC managed, and over 25% of these are Canadian. Our FSC Chain of Custody (CoC) certified paper has been harvested under strict environmental, social and economical standards.
PEFC is an independent and non-profit organization that is the largest forest certification system in the world. The organization uses independent third-party certification to promote Sustainable Forest Management (SFM).
When we print we use the latest technology such as our award-winning Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 105-6+LX. Our newer machines are more energy efficient, and produce less setup waste than past press models.
Our vegetable based inks replace petroleum and reduce Volatile Organic Compound emissions by 26%. Of course we follow up with rigorous recycling and cleanup policies that feel like second nature around here.
